As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.


Post 6183 conducted a  Poppy Distribution November 9th at Foodlion in Norwood. 
1.6% COLA effective December 1, 2019, signed into law.

October 21, 2019, VFW 6183 presented to the Norwood Town Council a plaque in appreciation for the 25 years of continuous support the Town of Norwood has provided Posts 6183 regarding the VFW Car Show, conducted by 6183 during the annual Norwood Arbor Day Festival.
The next monthly meeting of VFW 6183 is November 21st at the Post Home. 
Veterans claims assistance is available every Wednesday from 9 to 5 at the Post Home.
Digital communications facilities are now up and running at VFW Post 6183.
Post 6183 Shotgun Raffle fundraiser prize drawing November 21, 2019. Tickets still available.
The Post Christmas Party will be on December 14, 2019 at 6 PM. See "News" for details.

District 12 meeting is January 12, 2020. Eat at 1:30, Meeting at 2:30, Kannapolis Post 8989.
VFW Post 6183 now has two VFW Certified Post Service Officers.
Post 6183 turned in 1467 hours to Salisbury VAVS for the federal fiscal year ending September 30, 2019.
